Kelly currently work for Educational Service Unit 2. She previously worked for Papillion-LaVista Community Schools, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and  Lincoln Public Schools.
Kelly has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Studies and a Master's in Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Buena Vista University.
